Mr. Deese and I like walking to the beach. Our favorite route is the one that leads us to the lifeguard tower at the end of Topaz Street in Redondo Beach. The day I took the picture that is used as reference for this painting was the last day before they closed down the beaches due to the pandemic. I missed this view during the lockdown and I'm sure a lot of you did too. That's why that I painted a lot of beach scenes during that time - my way of sharing joy and beauty to the world.
