"Impromptu Vase" 6x8 original painting

I received an early morning present from someone I didn’t get to meet but blessed me with her son. Her rose bushes still thrive in the front yard. My husband, as he handed me the rose, told me that back in the day, when his mom would see women walk by, she would come out, calling them to wait, cut a rose, and give it to them. What a sweet heart! I know she is smiling as she watches us from heaven.  I called this impromptu vase because I used a cold brew coffee bottle to keep this rose in water.
