"Sweetness in a Blue Jar" 6x8 original painting

Peonies are such beautiful flowers.  They bloom from late spring to early summer depending on variety and location.  Sadly, even though the plant itself is perennial, the blooms don't last long.  In this painting, I tried to capture their beauty so that we can enjoy them all year long.
